Enjoy one of Brisbane’s most exclusive experiences, live the life that was once only for the city’s most elite. High tea on the verandahs of Old Government House is now available to the public.
Old Government House is one of Brisbane’s most important heritage sites. Constructed between 1860 and 1862, shortly after Queensland achieved separation from New South Wales, the House was Queensland’s first public building. A rare surviving example of the domestic work of Queensland’s first Colonial Architect Charles Tiffin.
The Pantry offers its own take on this elegant tradition with a delectable menu of three-tiered delights served in a truly special setting. Quintessential high tea finger sandwich favorites abound along with a unique selection of petit fours and decadent sweet bites.
For the little Lords and Ladies we have a scrumptious kids menu including fairy bread and a delicious marshmallow and fruit, chocolate fondue.
